    Probably 2oz for a nice finished look and not for strength.

    Bob this is an excellent demonstration of applying epoxy to fiberglass. I’m also figuring you used 2 ounce glass. Thanks for explaining the two hour “rubbery stage” and how the second coat applied during the rubbery stage gets rid of pin holes caused by the first coat soaking into the balsa. I used West Marine for my last fiberglass job and although I got a nice strong end result, I spent more time filling and finishing because of pin holes.
