bob you better go easy on the paint i worked on the 105 and it was a flying manhole cover. was at george afb with 18000 ft run way and it used it all good luck

  2. B1Bomber says:

Thanks but this plane is 1/100th the weight of the actual 1/6 scale weight. It will fly in a 100 feet.

  3. rye says:

where is the favorites cant find it? thanks rye

  4. rye says:

    o no

come on guys not the bule angels this is a fighter jet not a barbie jet

  5. Ray says:

Tried to vote for Bobs scheme and it ended up being counted against the Blue Angels one. Something not quite right.

  6. Fumbles says:

Why so many people picking the Thunder Birds paint? The european one camo paintwork or the Vietnam camo would look best on such a beast of a jet.

  7. rye says:

i think some one should check the counter ?

  8. B1Bomber says:

What browser are you running. Anything other then IE8, Firefox 3, Safari, Mobil Browsers are not supported and may give you incorrect results. Please check your browser and upgrade if needed.

  9. Scott says:

I hope this jet gets a proper paint job and not some “Air Show” paint job, shark teeth all the way!!!!!!

  10. onebadevox says:

was the f105 painted in Thunder Bird colors when they were bombin Vietnam?, lol

  11. Gary Baugh says:

I have nothing but respect for the Blue Angels, but this jet made its “bones” in combat (most notably Vietnam). Painting it in any color scheme other than what was used in the combat theatre would be a travesty and a slap in the face to those who fought in the Vietnam “war.” I may be biased, since I lost many good friends and fellow aviators during the insurection. A flashy, “hot-dog” coloring of this venerable old war-bird just doesn’t cut it and would detract greatly from the message this plane has to tell. That’s just my 2-cents worth and it’s not intended to inflame, insult, or affect anyone elses opinion………..

  12. rye says:

hey what happen the shark mouth is at 0

  13. B1Bomber says:

Technical difficulties. The current votes for the images were noted below the photo. The two leading photos are now the only ones to choose. Sorry dont kill me. — John

  14. Scott says:

what about the one on the front page with 14 votes now its in first, i smell something here!!!!

  15. Scott says:

ok i seen the votes below it, im all good now :P

  16. Kelly says:

I too am disappointed in the way the vote is going a war bird needs to be painted for that particular war and time. I want to remind everyone that RC planes are hard to see some times in the sky so the color scheme does need to accommodate for that as well. I just hope the B1 take priority after this here build I want to see it fly
To the webmaster can you not incorporate Advanced Poll 2.0.9 might make these contest easier and more accrete, Because I notice I can vote more than once on current setup.

  17. B1ModelProject says:

Hey Kelly, sure I will take a look at it. The current voting setup is descent for the quck turn around but I will explore more options. Yes you should be able to vote on more then one image but it does restrict you to one vote per image per machine you are using.

  18. Hwystar says:

My congrats to the other two members of the winning entry! Also thanks to the members of the Thunderbird entry. It was a very close race with the lead switching back and fourth for most of the week. Kinda reminded me of a NASCAR race….lol

  19. leoman27 says:

Yes congrats to the other team for a good race, Congrats to Hwystar and Bradley Varvel too WE WON!!!!!!! lol

  20. Brad says:

Wow we won, congrats gents, a special thanks goes out to all the other guy’s who submitted their picture to this contest. To the guys who had submitted the Thunderbird picture congrats, the voting had gone back and forth, your picture was inspirring and would have made a great paint job for the prototype 105. Thanks for the competition Bob, it was fun. Bill Hwystar, Leoman27 congrats gents two thumbs up, can’t wait to see Bob’s 105 flying, with our choice of a veteran combat aircraft paint scheme.
