  7. g.l. gould says:

Congratulation on the first flight, it appears that you have an aileron problem on lift off and landing. You did a great job of not over controlling the 105. Great flight. Always remember any landing can be good, any landing that you can fly the plane again is great!

I can breathe again! ZOMBIE DUDE did you proud. Special thanks are due to Dad for that rugged landing gear, John Balcome (Spelling?) for his expert assistance, John the photographer, Chicago Dude for his photos and participation and, most of all to you, BOB-O-GREATEST for your skills, perseverance and service to modelers everywhere. Kudos to Butch, Cam-Lex, Associated Industries(your composites supplier), Harbor Freight, Youtube, and to each and every fan whose interest has provided a raison d’etre (reason for being) of this entire project. We all deserve congratulations for a job well done and share in your joy and jubilation.

  10. Jeff Alter says:

thank you Bob…I know my father, Niles, saw it all and was with you all the way….

you have given us all hopes and dreams, entertainment second to none and one awesome project from beginning to end not excluding the B1..

funny part to all this, my father’s things, airplanes built, partial constructions, tools, paints, kits and tons of books were all shipped to me from Florida where he lived….I’ve been going thru these boxes of his and came upon books about the B1 bomber and the F105…sure there others (probably every aircraft ever built)..even autographed books by Greg “Pappy” Boyington and the Japanese ace Masajiro “Mike” Kawato that was the only japanese pilot to shoot down Boyington…interesting stuff to say the least..but the B1 and the F105 were among his favorites..

you most definately gave him his last dreams into the model world..

    thank you my friend….Jeff
