The Air Force is very fond of the F for fighter designation and is quick to apply it to any fast-mover that has even the most rudimentary ability to preform in a tactical role like a true fighter, the A-10 being a rare exception. Tony McPeak, one time Air Force chief of staff hated the A-10, by the way, because he said it did not look like a fighter and tried to give it to the Army. Many of the Air Force’s F’s would be designated A-whatever were they Navy aircraft because their primary mission is/was air to ground. Practically anything can be configured to carry bombs, but only aircraft with a strategic mission and capability are designated B-whatever in the Air Force — B-17, B-29, B-52, the Bone, B-2, etc. So, if it’s tactical it is an F, if it is strategic, it is a B. More or less.
I was hoping a bikini clad babe was gonna pop outa of that box Bob!

Bob:
Would you please send me the link for the 1/6″ tape.
Also I have a brand new (once tested) Eurokit hydraulic kit which did not work out for me. I also purchased two (2) of the hydraulic disconnects.
If you need this kit let me know and I will donate it to you for the B-1 or others you are building F-105). The value is over $450.00.
If you get a chance e mail me or give me your phone number and I will call you.
Keep up the good work.
