In case anyone cares, the TT-1 was called the Pinto. It was built by Temco for the Navy back in the day when they were looking for a basic jet trainer. A couple of them eventually made it into civilian hands as private jets. There was even a Super Pinto with a more powerful motor. The Navy bought the bigger and more capable T-2 Buckeye from North American instead.
There’s a red Pinto Jet parked at Burke Lakefront Airport Cleveland, Ohio it has been sitting for a couple of years. Will get the N number to see if its still flyable.
