    On most full-scale jets there is a rudder limiter system to limit rudder deflection at various speeds. I’m thinking on the B-1 the lower rudder is primarily used in the low speed regime for directional control during an engine-out situation. I’d use the lower rudder on this B-1 model as a yaw dampner. Couple the upper rudder to the lower rudder with two seperate servos but incorporate a gyro on the lower rudder to compensate for adverse yaw and to keep Dutch-rolling to a minimum as wing sweep increases.
