  1. A general question to the turbine-users out in the readership……Does a NEW turbine require a “burning-in” or significant run-in period before its first flight? If so, how long? Is there a specific exhaust-gas temperature range that is optimum? Do you “mix” your fuel to achieve this range or is mixing, somehow, used for lubrication?

    No you can just fire it up and fly once the ECU is all setup. JetCat runs every engine before they ship it.
